Telephone advice lines for occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech and language therapy in North East Essex.How it can helpThere are telephone advice lines for parents and carers in North East Essex. These are manned by Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Speech and Language Therapists.

Free Inclusive Reources for Parents

ICE improves lives by helping people with communication difficulties to understand and be understood.  They provide a range of Assistive and Augmentative Communication (AAC) aids which you can borrow to include:
  • buttons and switches
  • communication aids such as the GoTalk or QuickTalker
  • flash cards and cue cards
  • communication wallets and folders
  • talking photo albums
  • switch adapted toys
  • sensory story packs
You can borrow 5 items for 8 weeks at a time (3 weeks for sensory stories). Loans are free of charge.
Before you can borrow our resources you need to register with us by completing the Loan Agreement Form. You only need to do this once.
