Student Placment Opportunities

Tendring Families First is delighted to be working with a number of Universities and Training Providers including, Essex University, Colchester Institute, Matrix, University of Suffolk, Renew & Chrysalis to offer Student Counsellors & Psychotherapists, placement opportunities for Clinical Practice to gain experience working with children and adults.

Tendring Families First recognises the importance of providing opportunities for students to gain Clinical Hours and provides supported placements in our schools to work with both children and parents struggling with their emotional wellbeing to offer free therapeutic Counselling and Psychotherapy using the modalities of Person Centred , Psychodynamic Therapy, Integrative  & CBT.
Further, development opportunities are also available for Therapists with the option of paid Freelance work once they are qualified.
